Sounds like you have a yeast infection. You can purchase yeast infection creams at your local drug store. For persistent itching and odor, make an appointment to see your gynecologist.

Time to see a gyno, hunny.  Have a pap smear done, and a urinalysis as well.  Don't worry about going: all the doctors and nurses in this profession have all seen 'private parts' on a regular basis, you will not be any different in this respect.  You can take your mom or a close female friend with you, right into the exam room.  Tell the doctor that you have never been sexually active: so that they are gentle with you, and so there is no question of STD's.  Blessings - Blu

It's burning because you've scratched it raw.  The itching is most likely a yeast infection.  You don't need to be sexually active to get one, and you don't *have* to have the classic "cottage cheese" discharge to have a yeast infection.  It could be something else, though, so you need to go to a clinic or a gynecologist and get it seen.  They can take a look and swab it to determine if it is yeast, and a single pill is often all that's needed.  If you feel embarrassed, just remember that you need to do this, that it's their job to take care of you (and their job to look at crotches all day), and that they've seen much, much worse.  A yeast infection is nothing compared to a raging first case of herpes, and there are much worse looking things out there than a raging first case of herpes, which you don't have.
