lump in vaginal area

Woke up one morning with a large lump (size of a ping pong ball) in my vaginal area.   Stayed there all day and then when I woke up the next morning it was gone.  What could have caused this?

Sounds like a Bartholin's gland that was inflammed.  No worries dear.
