Hello,
Fertility returns soon after removal of the Mirena. There are several reasons why a woman have delayed menstruation and this could be due to unhealthy diet, stress (emotional or physical), sudden weight gain or loss, caffeine, alcohol, and smoking. Gynecological conditions like polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and uterine cysts or polyps, can also bring about alteration in menstrual cycle. However, pregnancy is still the most common cause of delayed or missed period.

So if there is a history of any unprotected intercourse then pregnancy should be ruled out.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Hi thank you so much for your advice. I have been to the nurse and she has told me that I will have to wait three weeks before I can rule out pregnancy as she said they can not go off the date of removal. I still have no sign of bleeding and all tests so far are negative. I do.not have a gyne problem, but I am taking fat burners and have lost weight recently. I was wondering could taking ketone fat burners hinder a possitive result. I wont know any results for three weeks they will do a blood test then also. I just hope if im.not things go.back to.normal soon...I am worried.  Thank you. X
