menstrual cramps

What is the best remedy to ease the pain of menstrual cramps?

No pills work for me but a heating pad or hot water bottle work excellent for me, and it's nice and warm so that's a bonus cuz I'm always freezing when I'm on my period

Depends on how bad they are. If they are mild I would just use Ibupropen

Usually if your pains are that bad it could be Endometriosis. You can read my journal and profile or you can look up the symptoms to see if they match yours. There are over 500 million women with this disease and it sometimes takes 8 yrs on average to be diagnosed. It took 17 yrs for me.

I use midol complete its works really well. And a heating pad.

Advil or Nuprin, as they are anti-prostaglandins.  Ponstel used to be prescribed for this, but once ibuprophen came out over the counter, I haven't heard of it being prescribed much for cramps since.
