could it be a sign of labor?

im 34 weeks pregnant and ive been having some cramping in my lower back and abdomin, along with that are shooting pains inside my vagina. could i be experiencing signs of early labor?

Call your Labor and Delivery nurses/doctors and let them know. They always prefer moms that are too cautious to moms that are afraid to bother them and then have something bad happen!

the shooting pains in the vagina can come from the baby putting pressure on nerves, the cramping sounds a bit suspect... is it different from your braxton hicks? (practise type contractions where the uterus contracts in training for the birth).  I think you should talk to your maternity care provider asap... you cant be too careful eh? and if they say its nothing then you at least have peace of mind
