PCOS

Hey ladies. I just found out that I have PCOS and was wondering if anyone knows anything about this. I didn't think that I had any problems with my insulin. Can you have PCOS and not be insulin resistant? Does anyone have any info on PCOS and what I can do to help me get pregnant?

Hi,

I have PCOS too, but don't have insulin resistant problems. My blood tests and ultra sounds revealed that everything was normal except the testosterone levels which were very high. Also, as a side note, clomid has helped me to ovulate... so when/if you ever desire to get pregnant clomid would be a good option! All the best.

ALso, don't feel depressed about PCOS. Eat healthy and excercise regularly, and your body will cooperate!

I subscribe to Natural Health magazine.  There was a very informative article about PCOS, I believe in the January issue.  It gave both natural and medicinal treatment options.
