ovarian cysts
Has anyone ever heard of someone having pain with ovarian cysts for 3 months? The pain hasn't gottin any better and im concerned there may be something wrong.
My dr told me to wait 3 to 5 months and then come back to check on them. Doesn't that seem like too long to wait?
One more ?, do these symptoms usually come with cysts
pulling pain in lower abdomen, both sides
very bad back pain
sharp pains every now and then in upper abdomen
pain in upper thighs

How big are the cysts and did you have an ultrasound? How many cysts appeared?
I have a small cyst now on my remaining ovary and I feel it much more the week before my period starts. I had huge cysts on my other ovary that required surgery and removal of the ovary after it was diagnosed w/ borderline cancer. If it is really bothering you, I would consult another doctor and see what they say. If you can, get a copy of that U/S report so you know what your are dealing with.
If your dr is telling you he will observe it, chances are it is a small cyst. For peace of mind, I'd prob just get a second opinion though.

I am no expert in cysts, but it sounds like your doctor's advice is correct based on what I've read. I'm surprised you have thigh pain but everything else sounds typical of cysts.
