nervous

Hello,  a week ago I was taking anitbiotics for a sore throat and I got a yeat infection. Now I never went to the doctor to get an actual diagnosis, howver, the symptoms only started after I had been taking the anitbiotics and yeast infections are common with antibiotics.

I took Monistat 3. Howver, now I noticed  that on the left side of my vaginal opening, it seems to be swollen.  The skin looks like it is swollen into two or three bumps. Also, My boyfriend and I tried to have sex, but it was burining. Now this burning was not incredibly uncomfortable, but it was kind of a warm burning.

I was wondering if these swollen bumps and burning could be a side effect from the monistat??

Honey, it would be best to go to the gyno and start from the beginning and tell what happened.  For all you know, it is a string of different problems, and all of our guesses would just be guesses.  Go see the doc and get tested and diagnosed, and get the right prescription.  It's the safest thing to do.
