ive had an abortion, was put on birth control, my period never came the day it said it was going too. should i of waited for it to come and then start takin the pill? its beeen a month now, and my first non hormonal pink pill was 2 days ago. which should of started my period.... today i am now cramping alittle and have some brown discharge, does this mean ill be getting my period soon? why didnt i get it when i was on the first pill of my last 7?

Yes, sorry, but that was pretty painful to read, especially when I lost a very wanted baby that I had tried hard for a long time for last year, and it took me almost 8 months to get pregnant again.

an abortion is going to really mess up your cycle.. were you bleeding after? im trying to remember how it worked when i had mine, i believe they started me on the pill right after the abortion because i was bleeding. you should have gotten your period technically, but its not unusual to miss. your cycle is going to be a little out of wack for a few months... is there a possibility your pregnant again? birth control is not completely effective the first pill pack and they suggest you use a backup method such as condoms the first month. just keep taking your pills everyday at the same time (assuming your not pregnant) and your period should show with the next pack.
