pregnancy cramps

why am i cramping so bad? I have menstrual like cramps al day long, no bleeding though. Went to the er and they did nothing told me to call my doctor! I just left my docs and saw a np not my doc who tells me i am listed as a threatened abortion in my charts. Why was i not told of this? Why did she not pull my blood or check on my cervix or even do a ultrasound to make sure the fetus is developing okay? I feel like a guinea pig waiting for a bad outcome. She told me that as long as there was no blood I am fine..... Well now I am still cramping at work with alot on my mind. Threatened abortion is all I can hear right now!!!!!!!! Do they not think pregos have enough to worry about. I understand that a miscarriage can not be stopped but do you think they should have taken more steps to make sure everything is okay internally instead of feeling me with false hopes?

Please any feedback would be great!

thank you for your reply... I did go to the doctors but they did not tell me anything. I asked for a sonogram and was told lets just wait. I dont understand why docotrs even take a oath to help people here in memphis. Its as if they come towork just to get a paycheck. I can only pray now that God wouldnt give me the joy just to take it back.

I would make another appointment with your doctor and ask for an ultrasound. Cramping can be a sign of a miscarriage to come. You need to be seen to know what is going on with your pregnancy. The ER should have done an ultrasound and I don't know why they didn't, which is odd. Though do make the appointment. Good luck.
