MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Slight spotting is common during the first trimester of pregnancy. During pregnancy the cervix becomes more sensitive and engorged with blood. Even slight trauma can result in bleeding.
The other possibility is of threatened miscarriage. To prevent threatened miscarriage, I would suggest you to avoid intercourse especially during the first trimester.

I hope it helps. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Hi there
It is not normal to bleed during sexual intercourse and this is definately something that needs to be checked out fairly quickly especially as you are pregnant . It could be one of many different things including sexually transmitted diseases or cervical erosion.  If it is the erosion of the cervix it may mean you have a weakness in the opening of your cervix and as you are pregnant this may require you having a stitch to make sure you don't miscarry your baby.

Please get this checked out without delay and let us know the results on here too .

Hope this helps
