MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Ringing sensation in ears and head is called tinnitus. Some of the causes are ear infection, tumor (acoustic neuroma), ear wax, certain drugs, multiple sclerosis, head injury, panic attacks and some metabolic diseases. I would suggest you consult your ENT surgeon and these conditions ruled out.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Ringing in the ears is common in people with thyroid problems so I am sure it could be a symptom of many things. Don't feel crazy for going to the dr you need to find out what is going on. Best wishes, Sissie
