Cramps

Why are my cramps so bad to the point where every month I actually have to go on bed rest? Are there any all natural things that can help me?
Also, my moods are ridiculous. I almost have to lock myself away due to my mood swings out of fear people might think I'm losing my mind.

Usually if your pains are that bad it could be Endometriosis. You can read my journal and profile or you can look up the symptoms to see if they match yours. There are over 500 million women with this disease and it sometimes takes 8 yrs on average to be diagnosed. It took 17 yrs for me.

You could try taking a multivitamin formulated for women. It'll take a couple months to notice the benefits of it but it may help a little with the mood swings. Potassium helps with cramps. Eat extra bananas, avacados, etc. (not sure what others but those two have tons) during PMS and while you have it. Perhaps trying the pain meds specifically made for menstrual cycles will help you better as well. I'm not sure what they are called but if you just google it, you will be able to find the brand names. Hope this helps.
