Constantly bleeding

I am 47.My periods have been wonky for 3 months now so I am not sure if this is the menopause or not. Having compared notes with friends I am none the wiser. I have had no break in the bleeding and get heavy spells when I literally sit on the toilet and let it flow. I have constant headaches, brain fog, chronic thirst and ache all over. I started an exercise regime thinking it was all down to being unfit but the more I do the worse I feel. The periods are not painful as such but I get short sharp pains. I am permanently wet from sweats which do not relate to friends flashes . It is as if my thermostate is set to high and I am completely lacking in energy. I wake up as tired as when I went to bed and my neck feels like there is a rod down it making it constantly sore and painful to turn. I also seem to have developed Vitiligo I think you call it. My hands have little pigment left and what is left just gives the impression that my hands are dirty it is now on my face and on most parts of my body. I find it hard to hold a conversation and find myself fumbling for words and stuttering. Feel like I am going senile. I start tasks and never seem to finish anything and I am finding myself increasingly disorganised. I spend half my time looking for things and working myself up about it which just makes me more tired and disorganised. I have an 11 and a 12 year old at home and it is not fair on them to live this chaotic existense. I seem to have trouble healing on my legs. I received a bite which will not heal. It weeps but cannot scab over and heal

i am 32 and have had lots of back porblems which have caused me to have a prolapsed bladder.  I am also now bleeding 1 week on and one week off and look as though I am eight months pregnant.  I have always had extremley regular periods to the point i know the day before that i will be due.  Has anybody else experienced this?

Just wanted to add to what the others said that diebetics have trouble with minor cuts healing. You should get a complete physical and bloodwork done. Sounds like you have a LOT going on. Please see a Dr. as soon as possible!

My mom went through the same thing went she went into menopause, her doc told her that she had to get a hysteroctomy, once she had that done, the bleeding stopped...Good luck and please call your OBGYN asap, that is a long time to bleed.
