therapeutic abortion

i had a therapeutic abortion one week ago when i was 17 weeks pregnant because the baby has a multiple congenital anomalus.i don't have D&C procedure.i am fine and everything go fine but my breasts secrets milk.i took DOSTINEX which is prolactin inhibitor.i am afraid that the abortion may affect my fertility.i wish to get pregnant again so i don't take any contraceptives.i am waiting the blood to stop to have sex again.my question is...is secreting milk a bad sign or indication to infertility or will it be stopped soon?

i agree completely with evthing4reason, but i will add that I also lactated for a time after my abortions.  definitely be ready for the emotional rollercoaster associated with your body and mind getting back to well not where it was, but where it will be. and please know that your not alone, there are women all over the world who have gone thru similar situations and we're all empathizing with you right now.

i am 21 wks when i was induced. not to worry, lactating is normal.  our body will eventually tell ourself that we r not carrying a baby anymore and stop.  My Dr tells me to try again anytime when i am 'ready'.  i am still ttc and wish we will be posting great news soon!

I am so sorry for your loss, i went through somthing similar but i had to actually deliver my baby.
The milk production is normal, it happened to me when they induced me at 19 weeks. Keep putting ice on them and look up about cabbage leaves, they apperently really help.
You Dr probably will suggest waiting a couple of months to start trying again, the next few months will be an emotional rollercoaster. When somene loses a baby early on they say wait at least one month for the body to get back to normal, i was told to wait 3 months, but have had many complications and have finally just gotten the go ahead to try again. watch for any signs you may have an infection, they are quite common and i ended up back in the hospital 2 weeks later.
