Itching can be due to a lot of things.  yeast, bacteria, soap, change in temperature, so many things.  Have you been diagnosed with thrush?  Make sure you have it before taking meds.  If you have been diagnosed and taken medication it should work. However sometimes thrush and other infections take a while to clear up.  Discharge may or may not be associated, and whether you have it or not does not say if you still have thrush.  Are you still having symptoms?

note that Bacterial Vaginosis can cause itching...and a lot of times women confuse this with other infections.

A gyno would be able to make a better assessment. If you have already been to one and she told you it was thrush and you took the meds, you should be fine, but if you keep having symptoms then go and have a follow up with her.

good luck!
