vagina discharge

Lately I've discharge a clear jelly\mucous type of vigina discharge especially when I have a bowel movement.I can feel it when it comes out its a very yucky feeling. What could be the cause of this? I haven't had sex in almost 4years, so why the discharge it's very uncomfortable.

I've been having the same problem but my OBGYN sayd that the mucus is a part of the ovulation cycle that doesn't happen often but it does. She said the mucous is a way for your vagina to rid itself of bacteria.

I have the same problem! But i have it everyday.. I havent been sexually active for a year, and havent had my period for 6 months. Could this be normal?

Thanks but it just seems like its a little to much though it doesn't have a odor.

It sounds like normal ovulation mucus.  Most women have this mid cycle.  It's normal and has nothing to do with whether you have sex or not.
