weird things i've notice

about a year ago,i had a pain at the right side of my ovary and wen i went to hospital they said it was my appendix, after my surgery "removing my appendix" they said that it wasn't my appendix it was an egg that burst on my ovary and that it is a normal thing.after that i startet to have very pain full periods, especially on my right ovary side,i talked about it with my doctor and she said that its normal. i've been having this pain for a year now and in the past 2 months my period has come,it was was very pain full, lastet only 2 days each time and after that it just left me bloated, and with a greenish- yellowish dissarsh that smell too. now my question is : is it normal to have these symptoms?

I think you are describing an ovarian cyst "bursting". I had my first ovarian cyst (right ovary) when i was 13 years old. I collapsed in the hallway and my dad had to carry me into the car and was wheeled in the hospital. The doctors told me it was painful until the cyst "bursts". I was throwing up, but I was told that wasn't a normal symptom. Once it "burst" I felt completely fine. I've been on birth control to prevent having ovarian cysts. I don't have any pain on the right side on or off my period. I did find out that my right ovary is larger than the left. I don't remember having any odd discharge from my ovarian cysts. A green/yellow discharge sounds like an infection? You should make an appointment with your gynecologist.

When they removed the ectopic pregnancy, I assume the ovary was left intact?  You might have some scar tissue that has adhered in that area and it reacts to swelling of the ovary.  However, internal adhesions would not explain greenish-yellow discharge or a reduced period.  See your ob-gyn.  The issues might be separate, but certainly need diagnosing.
