Okay, he needs to be treated as well this go round as it is passing back and forth.  Ugh, sorry about that.  But hopefully if you are both treated at the same time, you'll conquer it.  good luck

Hi there and welcome. Sorry you are having this issue.  Bacterial vaginosis ---  gardnerella vaginosis can be very difficult to totally eradicate or get rid of.  Notoriously, it comes back.  I would suspect that if you take the medication and it is cleared up, then your partner is passing it to you.  Whether he tested negative or not.  Have you both taken flagyl at the same time for it?  That is probably the next step to getting rid of it.  But again, it's a tricky little bug and is hard to get rid of.  Doctors treat both the man and women with medication at the same time.  Also, change undies frequently, wear cotton underwear, etc.  This pathogen likes warm, moist conditions.  good luck
