worried about my period
i'm really late for my period and a couple of weeks ago i went to the gyno and she said i had trich and gave me the medication, but my question is do you think that can cause mt period to be late?
Yes Trich can cause you to get your period late. Stress, hydration, drugs, infection, dietary changes, changes in activity level...and more...can all affect your period to.
Test test test for pregnancy ASAP. Your doctor may want to change your trich medicine to something else if you DO turn out to be preg. Doctors often prescribe high doses of medication for STD's to wipe it out. This may be harmful to your unborn baby.

I'm not sure if trich itself could make you late, but I know stress can make you late, so if you've been upset/worried, that could cause it. If there is any chance you could be pregnant you should take a hpt just to ease your mind. Hope that helps, good luck!
