Hi guys. I'm suffering so bad here. I have a horrible yeast infection. I went to my doctor and she prescribed diflucan and  also clomitozole?? (Sp)...I am so itchy and sore I want to cry. Should I try monistat 7. Or wait out the diflucan?. What works for you?

Well, I personally would not.  instead, why don't you buy the probiotic pills?  They aren't the cheapest but I think it would be worth it to you!

Thank you both. I started diflucan about two or three days ago and I'm still suffering. She did give me a second pill. I will take in a few days. If nothing I will go back. This is a nightmare. And tomorrow I will be getting the yogurt.. personal question..can I insert the yogurt since I don't like eating it?

I agree with above.  Typically that medication works really well (and usually really pretty quickly).  If it doesn't, I'd see your doctor for follow up. You are under doctor's care for the fungal infection, so continue that path rather than self medicating.  I would try some probiotic yogurt to help though----  I eat Dannon Activia.  I believe it helps.  good luck

I'd wait out and use what the Dr prescribed. How long did he/she say it would take? If you just started, you should feel some relief soon....
Good luck...
