Pink Sweat

I read your post from another woman who had experienced similar symptoms as mine that is indeed a medical enigma.

I had some type of a health crisis and I thought I would die... last year when I excreted "pink sweat". I can not find evidence that it is possible in humans. Hippopotamus are the only creatures who excrete pink sweat. Had a patient had these symptoms, I would have though they were delusional. Yet, it happened to myself a couple of times last year.  A Hypothalamus imbalance could possibly be suspect, but my hormone panels came back in perfect range.

I have been through every test imaginable, all came back normal. The only thing is I have two herniated disc in my cervical spine, which explains every symptom, except the pink sweat.

If there are anyone experiencing this phenomenon please, respond to this blog post. I also had, nausea, vomiting, followed by a very intense cold sweat (pink) My daughter, two friends and a doctor witnessed this strange pink sweat.

This occurred when organic spinach, tomatoes and fish products from china were being recalled. I had consumed all three. I have no idea if there was a link, my doctors said not. I did have nausea, vomiting and diarrhea during at least one of the episodes, another time I had  high fever and was bed-ridden for 3 days.

There may be a new type of "syndrome" on the horizon...

I suffer from night sweats and have done for over 12 years.   I am now 52 and there are no signs of the menapause.  Last night I woke up wet through and this morning there are pools on my bedclothes of lime green and pink sweat marks.  Otherwise, I'm in great health.  Should I have this checked out or has anyone got any ideas?

I have been experiencing pink sweat for a couple months now. And like chic2676 my sheets and the arm pits of my light-coloured shirts are stained pink. I looked it up online in an attempt to find a solution, and I found a rare condition that accounts for this pink sweat. It is called Chromhidrosis, and is characterized by "the secretion of coloured sweat". It is also noted that this is a rare condition, so information on it is quite limited. I am going to see my doctor in a few weeks and will definitely bring it up. I suggest others do the same.

Here is some information on Chromhidrosis: http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/1072254-overview

I just began sweating pink.  Male-42-white.  A few days ago I noticed my bedsheets had a pink tinge where my posterior was.  Today my underwear are pink and the toilet seat as well.

One thing has changed in the past week: I began making cheeses in home.  It would be unusual to think the two aren't related.  My suspicion is that bacterias from the cheeses are working on me somehow.

No nausea or lethargy.  I seem normal so far.  My cheese starters until today were typical Mesophiliac, and also Camembert P. & G. Candidium for a Camembert, though today I began using blue cheese mold Penicillium Roqueforti.  Could Penicillium be the cause?
