Tell me how your CT scans turned out.  If it is a sinus infection that is not being affected by antibiotics, I will show you an alternate way to clear infection out of your sinuses.

I am on my third round of anti-biotics for a sinus infection and cannot get any relief. The first round was 14 days (cannot remember name) along with a one week supply of Prednisone. The infection seemed to get better, but came back very strong 3 days after my meds were finished. My head hurt so badly that I was crying and had to use an ice pack to help ease the pain. My doctor gave me Levaquin (10 days), another 7 day supply of Prednisone, and Lortab 10mg. The Lortab helped a good bit with my misery, but I could still feel all the pressure in my head, even on such a strong pain killer. 5 days after the second treatment, I woke up with another horendous headache. It was so intense I felt very nauseated and my husband had to come home from work to take care of our 17 month old. I went to another doctor that day. He put me on Levaquin (7 days) and gave me more pain meds. He also sent me for a CT scan. I am waiting on results. The test was done on Friday. I expect to have heard something by tomorrow (Tuesday.) I am on my 5th day and feel terrible. My head aches, my ears hurt, I feel like I am having some of the infection move to my chest, as well.
The past year and a half has been really strange. I have had bone pain which my doctor thinks is due to extreme vitamin D deficiency. My thyroid function is low. I am on Synthroid and 50, 000 units of Vitamin D/week. I am 32 years old and am at a healthy weight. I cannot get the thought of cancer out of my mind. I'm afraid that my bone pain could be due to bone cancer. Now, of course, I'm afraid that I could have a brain tumor and that one is primary and the other secondary. I know this sounds crazy, but I have been SO sick for so long. The bone pain has been really bad. For a long time I didn't know what kind of pain I was having. I just knew that it was very real. The blood work that showed these things was done 5 weeks ago.
It seems like my immune system is really weak, as I am always feeling bad from body pain, fatigue, headcahes, nausea, or sinus problems. Has anyone had similiar problems? I know there is a link between Vitamin D deficieny and cancer. I see my doctor Thursday and plan to discuss my fears with him then.
