Try SILVADINE for Peeling, Cracking Fingers & Hands

My friend was in agony with her hands and feet cracking open and peeling all the time. She was diagnosed with eczema (she had it since working in a plastic factory) and the only thing that has helped her is a concoction the pharmicist gives her called SILVADINE (not sure about the spelling). I think you need a prescription for it. It comes in a jar type container like Noxema. It always provides relief and heals her fast.

This discussion is related to skin peeling of in layers on hands.

Where and how can I purchase Silvedene.  I have noticed  both hands (thumbs, knuckles of index, middle & index fingers only and heel of both palms) blistering and then peeling.  My nails are starting to curl inward and feel very brittle.  I always wear gloves for cleaning, washing dishes and gardening.  The first noticeable occurence was about two months ago while at my home in N.J., which I visit about twice a year.  My doctor didn't
think it was more than "dry skin" and recommended a cortizone-type lotion.

Hello,
Silvedene contains silver sulfadiazine which is used I the treatment of burns. For cracking and peeling hands, the cause has to be identified like it can be due to dry skin, fungal infection or even pompholyx. Pompholyx is characterized by a sudden onset of many deep-seated pruritic, clear vesicles which itch and then peel off. As a result the skin may also fissure.

I suggest your friend to get the diagnosis confirmed from a dermatologist and then use any drug. I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
