How do you know if you have a prolapse?

I am 31 years old I had a partial hysterectomy at the age of 27. Only thing they kept was my right ovary. I am having a hard time emptying my bladder and holding my bladder. I will leak even when I have no urge to use the bathroom. Well the last 2 weeks it has gotten worse. I am now losing my bladder while I sleep. What is going on here????

Yes seeing a Urogynecologist is important to get a full diagnosis.   Dolphins1 do you know if you had most or all of your uterus taken out and if so did they suspend the top of your vaginal cuff?
You can get your operation notes from either the hospital or from the surgeon who did your op.
Take these notes to your next Urogyne appt as well if you can so they know as much as possible about what was done in your last operation.
Do you have a bulge vaginally?   Your symptoms sound like they may be a prolapse but you will need to have a Urogyne appt to be sure of whether you have and also what type of prolapse you have.
Let us know how you get on
