I am 15, and in highschool. Lately my memory has been extremely bad

My memory has grown so bad, to the extent where i would read a sentence. And forget what im reading halfway through. I used to be an A+ only student, but lately i find it impossible to study. I would sit for hours trying to study one part of the work. It would be amazing if a doctor were able to help me, and give me solutions. I am to afraid to go to one of my local doctors, because i am very afraid of the result i might get. Please help me. I also find it difficult to think intensely about a single topic...

This happened to me after a concussion. Try seeing a neurooptometrist (not a neuroopthamologist) or an occupational therapist.  If possible, look for practitioners who offer something called vision therapy. Your memory may be fine, but your ability to visually retain information seems to be lacking.  I was a straight-A student, too. With a diagnosis, I was able to get formal accommodations and graduate high school with straight-A's.

I would suggest going to the doctor. If something is wrong it's better to catch it, but it could be something as simple as a deficiency you are experiencing, promoting memory loss. Stress can also play a huge role in our lives and on our bodies. Just get checked out to be safe.
