Oral sex and std/sti

Hello again everyone,
I apologize again for my not excellent English (I am writing from Italy) and I apologize for bothering you again.
This past Monday I had sex with a female prostitute(unprotected passive oral sex aka insertive oral sex).
I haven't noticed the slightest trace of blood on my penis and I'm pretty calm about HIV.
I ask you the amount of risk taken regarding the other std/sti like syphilis, chlamydia, gonorrhea etc.
Sorry again, I feel stupid and guilty.

Well, you already know your anxiety can't handle these encounters. Maybe you should stop having them?

There is a very slight risk for syphilis. Syphilis is uncommon in developed countries like Italy - and the US, UK, Canada, etc.

There is a risk for gonorrhea, chlamydia, NGU and genital herpes type 1 (if you don't already have oral herpes type 1).

You can test for syphilis at 6 weeks. You can test for the others at 2 weeks. Don't take any antibiotics, or you'll have to wait 3 weeks after taking the antibiotics to test.

Don't bother testing for herpes unless you get symptoms. 67% of the global population has hsv1 and the vast majority of them never show symptoms. The blood test, if you can get it where you live, misses a full 30% of infections, and if yours is positive, you won't know if it's an oral or genital infection.

Oral sex is lower risk than vaginal or anal sex. Most experts don't think one act of oral sex warrants testing.

There is no risk for HIV or hep B or C.

Also, remember that guilt doesn't equal risk.
Thank you again for your expertise and kindness.
You are absolutely right about stopping having these encounters. For this reason I started a psychotherapeutic path, I have to limit my anxiety and understand what leads me to make (what for me are) mistakes.
I don't have any type of disease, I will stay away from antibiotics until the sixth week (I will do an EIA syphilis test in the fourth and one in the sixth, I don't think I can wait until the forty-second day).
I'm sure you'll be fine.

Take care.
I'm here for an update (hoping that the information will be useful for any future users).
I carried out 30-day screening tests: HIV combo and total anti-treponemal antibodies (EIA), both of which were negative.

I never had any symptoms of gonorrhea/chlamydia etc, so I did not take swabs or urine tests.
I took the HIV test just to be careful even though I didn't run any real risks.

I know (as you told me) the window period for syphilis is 6 weeks and I will definitely do the test again in 45/50 days.
I therefore only ask you if I can "feel at peace" with a negative test that searches for syphilis Igm/igg at 30 days. It should be enough reliable right?

As promised I also began a psychotherapeutic path for all my mental issues.

Thank you again for your extreme kindness and helpfulness.
I think you're fine at 30 days with the syphilis test if you haven't had any symptoms. I wouldn't bother testing again.

I'm happy you've started therapy. That's the most important part.

Take care. :)
