Constant nausea 6 months

Hi
Have been nauseous for about 6 months
Had a 3cm gallstone and March 5 had gallbladder removed thinking that was cause and isn’t as nausea is still there.
So sick of feeling crappy

Went GP today and she wants me to take reflux tablets double dose every day for 2 weeks to see if that helps

So will try that

Will do anything at this stage to get rid of it
Any ideas what else to do or try??

Thanks

oh man, I feel for you!  Nausea is my nightmare. I can handle any type of respiratory issue, fever, body ache but throw in nausea, I'm done. So miserable!!  I do think acid reflux can cause nausea. This is also strange but I had a duodenal ulcer which also caused pretty constant nausea. It was the last thing we did to find it after lots of testing but the endoscopy showed it. Drank a chalk liquid and was better after 48  hours when it had been literal months of discomfort. So, keep asking questions! That issue with my bowel/intestines is known to cause long term nausea. just a thought. (but hoping the acid reflux med helps). My ulcer was caused by bile backing up in the intestines. I never had that treated and was told stress likely caused it to happen for a bit. I've never had a problem since. Gastroperesis is something they can treat. I don't know when/if they will but they make anti nausea medications that might help you.
