MVPS

About two years ago, I found out that I had MVP after going to a cardiologist.  (My symptoms were mainly tiredness, rapid heart beat, palpitations, lightheadedness, chest pain, my hands even turn blue in hot weather, and my face would get flushed....)  I noticed that my metabolism became faster and I started getting hungry more often and I lost weight even though I was eating more.  Is that normal with MVPS, or would it be caused by something else?

This discussion is related to chest pain and mvp.

I don't think it is normal, but I am not a doctor.  MVP is typically benign.  It sounds  thyroid related to me; hyperactive.  Have a TSH, free T#, and free T4 drawn, and add a glucose to see if you are diabetic.
