I would be glad that your blood pressure is at a normal rate now 110/75. If you are really concern keep taking it and keep a record, if the blood pressure goes back to 116/110 then you should probably bring it to your doctors attention.
My last appt ( last week) my BP was 136-93. Just took my BP this morning and it is 128/100. An hour later is was 119/101.
Yes make an apt. Keep taking your BP and keep a record of it to take with you to the doc. If your BP cuff has a history and you have not been writing it down, do it now and keep track from now on. Normal BP is 120/80 or below; anything continually over that especially the DIA over 100 should be brought to your doc attention! Don’t be too concerned, like thinking you will die or anything. Obviously there is a big picture that needs to be looked at. But high BP is treatable, and should not be ignored. Take your pressure at the same time every day if possible, like when you get up in the morning and just before you go to bed. And record it as say “May 10, 2009 morning BP 120/80, bedtime BP 120/80” this would be helpful to the doctor. Also try not to worry, your going to keep track just so the doctor can have a clear picture of what is going on.
