Is there a problem if my cervix is closed. I was getting a pap smear and my doctor said my cervix was closed. She referred me to a gynocologist.

a gyno at the hospital told me my cervix was closed and said i was fixing to start my period. is this true? b/c i never had a pd. btw i was at the hospital for vag bleeding, and i am sexually active, pull out and the pill is what we use
