Oh yeah, I did a 24 hour holter monitor, EKG, Echo cardiogram, Card lite nuclear stress test, X-Ray of chest, CT scan of chest, and a MRI of the heart all for my regular benign PvC's. Doctors sometimes throw all the tests at you to give you peace of mind. I thought the MRI of the heart was the best test!
Well PvC's are always rated on how dangerous and more of a risk to your health they are. If you have two or more in a row, or in a sequence this is considered more of a risk then your single focus, random PvC's. Likewise, if you have more PvC's when your heart rate increases, this is just a sign of higher risk then your normal PvC's. I used to take 12.5 of Toprol, but found that very small amount was negligible. I upped to 25 mg a day, and it worked a little better, but did not cure the PvC's. Good luck in finding a cure, cause PvC's are like your best friend, they are here to stay.
