to everyone

Hello, I am from Serbia, Learning English/American language was hard but I believe I have 99% of it. I have same symptoms as most of you friends do, I know the feeling, and its very hard to describe when your at hospital. I'm 19 years old, and these symptoms have started about 2 months ago, I have looked in to it right away just to make sure what I have(is this a disease?) First night is so bad, I could not sleep until 6am (Believe it or not, I have written down my farewell to family in wordpad, on this laptop, just in case). Whenever I close my eyes, some feeling in my chest come and I wake up, as if morning has just arrived, happened so frequently that I thought I was going to die. My Doctor has given me (.5ml) Alprazolam, which helps, but makes me tired right away. My parents do not understand this, and I have no way of expaining it to them until something does happen. But I have found this website, and every paragraph I read makes me want to cry. Im taking medication's this early in life, What's there left to say about the rest?

I understand and thank you very much for replying. I'm been drug/alcohol/cigarette free for about 3 years now and I decided to keep it like this for rest of my life. The thing is nobody would like their son/daughter to start taking medicine at early age, but if you want to live, it's a must. I have been searching and trying to figure out how this starts in people, something they did in their past?! I'm not going to lie, I did smoke marijuana (not for everybody) around the age of 14-15, and I think that's the cause of this, I relize now that doing those things was stupid, but one day it all clicks. In some people it's very different, it comes in genes, 'like father, like son', I'm assuming.

Welcome to the site and congradulations on learning the English language!!! Few mistakes, but not bad!  Taking medicine at your age is really not so bad is it? Many people on here take several medicines every day; my own daughter was in heart failure and already dying when she was your age. She ended up with a heart transplant and she too, must take several pills a day for the rest of her life or her new heart will be rejected and she will die. Try and look to your future and try and realize the things you can do and can accomplish. I wish you well and again....you are doing so well on learning our language!!
