11 yr old may be doing Heroin "cheese"

Help! My 11 yr old may be snorting a new form of Heroin called "cheese" it sells for $2 bucks a hit. It is Heroin mixed with Tylonol PM then snorted. Many of these kids are so young they have no idea they are actually doing drugs. They think it is harmeless chesse.Middle school children are marketing it to elementry school kids.
The problem is that my daughter lives with her father. He thinks because he is on a military base that he is somehow imumne to all the dangers in the world.
I thought about getting a urine drug test and optaining her urine under false pretense when she is here next weekend.
My question is how much needs to be in your system to detect it? Seems to me a $2 hit wouldnt be much and then diluted with Tylonol Pm I wonder if the test would detect such a small amount of Heroin. And how long does it stay in your system?

Well first of all.. more would be detected closer to when she does it.. heroin doesn't stay in the urine that long.. 3-5 days tops.. If you have the resources you could get a lab to test her hair.. that would show more..
geez.. kids these days... I have a 11 yr old half sister... my folks waited til I was all grown up and had new families...
I was a heroin addict as a teen.. if there is anything I can do to help.. or questions please do not hesitate..

I am not sure how long it stays in your system.  I think it is a few days.  I am so sorry to hear your child is going through something like this.  I know there must be a way you could get the law involved if he is not taking proper care of her or providing supervision.  I would contact an attorney as soon as possible and then if she is doing it get her into treatment.  I am sure in this day and age they have something for someone so young.  I wish you all the best - I will pray it works out for you and you get your baby clean.

Thanks for the suggestion. I read something about the hair analysis. I thought that would be good because it goes back like 90 days and she will have no clue if i just snip her hair while she is sleeping.  Is it pretty easy to get any lab to do the hair analysis?  I wonder if it cost thousands? I will have to call around on Monday. I just sit here wondering, is she doing it everyday? I mean isn't that the nature of heroin use? You have to have it 24/7? But you know, then the money comes an issue. $2 doesn't sound like much but at 11 yrs old... God, I know this sounds bad but I want to catch it asap. I almost wish I could get money to her the day before I pick her up. I hate to provide her the opportunity to use but then i could test her urine and know in 10 mins. There has got to be a way to trip her up or something and get to the bottom of this.

Thanks for your encouragment. I am going to phone my attorney Monday and see what he suggest. My relationship with my husband is such that we would end up in court before he would conceed to the possibilty that this may be a problem.
