Am I lucky, or what?

Two weeks ago my son found me collapsed on the floor in the middle of the night. No respiration or pulse. Took the EMT's quite a bit of work to just get me to Auswitch Medical Center!  All kinds of things happenned there. And I am happy to announce, that while not in top form, I can still use my keyboard today. It got kinda dicey for awhile,

Now we all know that VicUser is probably the forum romantic, and I admire his attitude and relation with wife.

But this morning I awoke to the smell of my favorite Kona Hawaiin coffee floating through the house.......next to the bed on a tray was a huge red rose with a note attached - - from my wife, of course. I will share...

God has blessed me with a tremendous wife and outstanding friends.  He also guided me here to medhelp a couple years back to more fine friends, solid advice, and understanding of a full blown additction. And the tools to overcome those addictions. In the process I have made many more wonderful friends than I could even name.  As I was fully unconcsious with no vital signs there was some other presence saying that "it still isnt your time yet" - - I wont begin to argue.............life is good - - -  Thank you everyone - - you  forum members have had a strong part in my changing attitudes and outlooks for the better. Doubt that I could have made it this far without constant support.   eagle - - - - - - And I cant leave out the laughs which I frequently have after a good read..................laughter is the best medicine!!
