Delete Friends???

So many people come and go around here do you guys delete friends who you havent heard from in forever? I feel guilty doing that in case they come back?? I know it sounds like a silly question but I just thought I would ask lol

I recently sent a short note out to people on my friends list that I haven't spoken to in a long time to let them know that I was taking them off my friends list because " My Friends Activity" was taking up my whole page and none were to me. I reassured them that by no means did I want to shut down any communication I was only clearing up my page. Well for a couple of days I got notes and then it stopped.I also do not accept every Invitation I recieve,I usually come back with lets talk a while      get to know one another and take it from there. It works for me With my schld. I can only maintain so many friends    At least my version of friendship........BE BLESSED.

Most people stop back, even if its just to say hi..so I don't like to delete people...but I don't think it matters...

LOL U guys are too funny. It makes me sad when people u get close too just disappear but Im going to send everyone a note =)

i admit that one time i did a cleaning out..there were people on my list who i could not remember...really silly probably but for privacy purposes i did deleted the people whom i did not remember who havent posted in forever ..i have alot of my settings for "friends only" and with my job and all i went ahead and deleted them...i guess i need to go to the delete police!

When they are not friends anymore, I delete them, otherwise they usually stay on.

I do it frequently...every time someone ticks me off, I have a tantrum and delete everything.....its a therapy thing for me........Oiy !!!

No big deal......if they come back its not difficult to put them back........

I never delete friends, I try to go through my list and send notes just to say "hey"..you never know when they may come back or as flmagi said lurking around, a note might just make their day...i know of several times they have mine....

Yeah never delete your friends I have plenty of them... I also try to keep up with most of them by saying something in a post or by leaving a note. You never know who you may need to reach out to. Its  good to have friends here

I've never deleted anyone because every now and then I like to look back and remember people who I haven't seen in a while and drop them a note. You'd be surprised how many people still lurk around but don't post anymore.

I have deleted a few along the way and have been deleted, lmfao. i hope your not gonna delete me, ill send you some more cold weather, ha.  There have been a few times i think accidental deletes happen too. i accidently blocked someone once and had no idea. What are you going to do tonight with no american idol on??????
