Good News

2 weeks ago my wifes Nurse Practioner thought she detected a lump on her breast...the remainder of one where she had cancer 3 years ago.  Which of course created the usual emotions in me (I can't begin to describe the emotions such words must generate in a woman)...

She had her mammo today, followed by an ultrasound.."Ma'am...there is NO CANCER HERE..NONE"..now she can proceed to have surgery next month to correct the mess that the orginal plastic surgeon created of the lat flap reconstruction he did (see pain management topic),  and has said there is nothing he can do to fix it..fortunately the new doctor (the 5th she has seen) has done over 500 of these and feels quite confident he can fix the problem.


Anyway..good news for the day..
