If your back can handle it, buy a step, (as in step aerobics), that you can adjust to suit your fitness & some hand weights. Put in front of your favourite show or pump up the music & you are good to go.
Thanks for the help guys. I'm gonna check out a few things at Target tomorrow. It would be nice to handle the exercise in the comfort of my home because I'm not exactly sure how scary I'm going to look during the middle of withdrawal!
The key is to, just start something. thats the hardest part for me. I would sit and over think it. whether it be doing laundry, dishes ,sweeping or hiking.
any activity helps period.
If you can just get started, then it will come.
its hard when there are pain issues, no doubt about it. 'done is difficult beast.
This is the name of the lady who does the the walk DVDs I would check it out Leslie Sansone
Hi - I was just going to suggest what sarah did. Go the mall and just walk. Even if you walk slowly.. it will totally help keep your mind off of w/drawal and help with some of the lethargy. Take care.
There are exercise tapes you can find to do in the house for walking they are great I have used them .
Do you have a mall in your area? Many people walk there now.
oH sweetie.. I HATE it when it's COLD outside! (makes my fibro kick in even worse)
But to try and answer your question... I think the DVD thing might help ya if you can find one that works for you AND... I don't think you really NEED to break a sweat.. I think that ANY kind of MOVEMENT is GOOD... for your body and mind..
Hang in there and keep me posted as I'm kinda worried about you!
Much love and BIG HUGS,
