Good detailed contrast aamary! I just don't understand how those facts can be ignored while people continue to buy into unsubstantiated tabloid trash.
You can put your arm down now . lol
lolololol...my right hand is raised and i'll always luv ya :)
Thats what I just can't wrap my brain around...with all the things that McCain voted for or against, which we have all seen/felt as failed policies, how can anyone beleive a continuation of the same thing is going to make things better. McCain still beleives that he voted correctly and some how still thinks its gonna work. He's not for change on these major issues, war, economy, health care, social security, he still holds the same beleifs. So if it hasn't worked in the last 8 years, why does he think it'll work if he's president? He (McCain) says HE knows how to win a war, and also says HE knows how to catch Bin Laden. Why hasn't he done this then? Why is he keeping such secrets? LOL Or is he really fluffing his feathers a bit? If Obama came out and said those things, my jaw would hit the ground, along with my respect for him. People let McCain get away with so much mumbo jumbo BS because he was a POW, and people don't want to come off as unpatriotic or unsympathetic. This is our country were talking about, and it's in really bad shape! Common sence tells us, if they were doing things right the last 8 years, we would not be in this position.
It's like pain pills, if you abuse them for 8 years, you're gonna have big problems. And if you've been taking Vics for 8 yrs. and switch to Percs...You're still gonna have the same problems!!!!!!!! Different pill, same problems.
Lizzy Lou........Before I go any further, you must raise your right hand and pledge to still love me after reading my political posts and that we are all forum family regardless of our political views. (mumbling curse words under your breath is allowed). I have already taken the oath. lol
I get what your trying to say.....Obama doesn't have a long voting record, he hasn't been there as long. for me it is where they stand on some important issues.
Obama voted "yes" to repeal tax subsidy's for companies which move jobs offshore. McCain voted "no". This tells me he is on the side of big business and not the American worker.
Obama voted "yes' on reducing oil usaged by 40% by 2025. McCain voted "no". McCain also voted "yes" on de-funding renewable and solar energy. This tells me he is on the side of oil companies, and not for finding a renewable energy.
McCain voted "yes " on using social security money to fund tax reductions. (for the wealthiest 2%) McCain believes if big business is given huge tax breaks they will hire and employ more people. We have these tax incentives right now and have lost over 6 billion jobs.
McCain voted "no" on investigating contract awards in Iraq & Afghanistan. I'm sure you remember hearing about how these companies that were tied to **** Cheney were raping the American people with their charges. Some really rediculous prices for things like feeding our troops.
McCain also voted "no" on our vetrans college benefits. This tells me he doesn't feel that 4 years of putting your life on the line is enough. He was afraid many would not re-enlist. So, some of these guys are broke with no education and have no choice but to re-enlist to feed their familys.
Hugs, Mary
What kind of voteing record? Of voteing with Bush? I'm not sure of that answer, someone probably will, but
I would rather Obama voteing just present 90 % of the time then voteing with Bush 90% of the time.
hhhuuummmmm...what kind of "voting record" does obama have???
