It's been quite some time since I've posted on here and wanted to take a brief moment to get back in touch with everyone and give some updates on how things are going....
I was previously diagnosed with PAD (Peripheral Arterial Disease), lupus, Fibro Myalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and a bunch of other crazy garbage.. I literally thought my life was at it's last few years.. LOL..
I had gone to this new specialist here locally, and ordered so many tests, it's unbelievable! I went back to my doctor for the results of all the tests/lab work and he said this,
"Your other doctor told you that you have Lupus right?" I then said, "Yes". He said, "Bull@h1t.. you don't have Lupus! Your other doctor told you that you have PAD, right?" I nodded my head, yes. He said, "Bull! No you don't" so it went on and on.. he read off to me a million and one things that could possibly be wrong, but he said there is nothing, except that I am Bipolar! HA! Of course, none of us want to be bipolar, but I'm quite relieved to know that I am going to 'live'! lol
My new doctor has not received any of my previous medical records as of yet, but I'm hoping he does very soon so that he can help me make sense of the results from the previous tests..
Is there any type of explanation for this? Anyone know??
Today, I am currently seeking another job (although I'm still working part time) but other than that, things have been better than before/the last time I posted. I have not stopped smoking as of yet, but that'll come next. :D
I am still in the process of seeking therapy through a local psychiatrist and haven't gotten any type of meds for the bipolar disorder, but hopefully that will come soon. Of course, if they try to give me anything habit forming, I'm throwing it in their faces, but I just want to be 'normal' again.. hehe.. defining normal has never been anymore difficult.. Maybe I should rephrase myself here- at least HALF WAY normal..
Okay, I've said enough.. God Bless everyone here! I still think about all of you and will never forget what you have helped me accomplish! Love you all!
