I opted for a cup of that Brazillian...so strong I have to fight it back in the cup....delicious.
well, you had your chance...I was up at 4AM....turned out son's flight was at 6...left for the airport at 411, was at the drop off spot at 423, back home at 430, back in bed by 445 and up at 7 enjoying a cup of Sumatran...I think I'll have Brazillian next..no...Gold Coast...an African Blend...
and I've only got 3 more to try...but there is bad news amongst the good...one of the Springsteen CDs he sent me is scratched and skip and stutters while playing..but my son's sending me another...what a good boy...
now....where's that coffee mug?
Don't make me have to come up there and take that coffee away.
I'm sipping coffee from Brazil..ooh is it good. This is probably why my BP is rising..but with the varieties of coffee my son sent me I've got a lot to drink. And this stuff from Brazil, very dark and rich, is wonderful....if I can just drink a small cup it would be OK..but...
and I have to be up at 5AM to drive my son to the airport which thankfully is only 10 minutes from my driveway to the drop off point. But..too late to go back to bed...to early for work...a big coffee day tomorrow
Jim
I was told by my doctor to go easy on the coffee but..... that is one drug I havent given up. Sipping midnight express right now.
I think maybe I'm drinking too much coffee...5-6 big mugs yesterday.
you know, at one time they were going to build a Starbuck's less than 5 miles from my home...they took the wood from an old barn that had collapsed and were going to use it for aesthetic puposes (I live in NH)..I couldn't wait...unfortunately, it was going right across the street from a Dunkin Donuts (which owns New England) and less than a mile from 2 others...the same guy owns 4 of them in town and apparently he raised a stink and Starbucks, who despite their financial woes, were going to build, but the stink was such Starbucks gave us the finger and gave up...nearest one is now 20 mins away.
Jim
heh, heh, heh....wouldn't you like to know?
Jim
well glad you guys worked all that out but I have 1 more kinda big question, where did you hide the cooffee???
I liked Howard many many years ago....my brother lives in Jersey and I'd go down there and listen to tapes of his "old days" and he was OK then...can't stand him now...
Glad that you arent a Howard fan, Jim - - I knew that you had more class than that!! And the more good music the better! Could you put something together to help me relate to my youngest son and Lil Wayne and odd things like that? I really need help with that one! LOL ...
Oh, I still love the Dead, no question....I've just been blown away by Bruce for the last year or so...I've still got plenty of Dead on my Ipod and boot CDs all over the house, my truck and Lord knows where..
I don't listen to Howard...don't care for him all that much..plus I have to get a batter for my remote for the XM...
This recording of The Boss from 8/22 is crystal clear...what a night that was and it was just a warm up for the next night..
I'm hiding all that coffee
Jim
Dont you dare defame The Grateful Dead!! I know that you have been an undercover Dead Head!! Granted - some other people can make music also - - but i recall you saying that a Grateful Dead concert was the next thing to space travel!! You sure you dont have sat radio so you can get Howard Stern?? LOL - - And I agree with mary - share the coffee! Probably work out to a half a gram of beans per person or so!!
I'm on a conference call right now, but the CD of the 8/22/09 show is fantastic. I just became a Bruce fan 2 summers ago after seeing him in Foxboro, MA with my son whom my wife surprised me by flying my son up her with 2 tickets..the energy that comes out of that band just never quits...never heard/or seen a "throway show" as I used to see with the Grateful Dead...I've got XM radio and it's 24/7 on the Springsteen channel..
"waitin' on a sunny day"
Jim
Whooo Hoooo! I am a coffee lover too and a Bruce S Fan!!
Terry
One word comes to mind........share. lol
