quick question false pos.

Now I am not trying to hide something but I got an email today from news health and said that ppl with diabetes can show up a false positive on drug testing well I have nothing to hide like any other drugs but I am diabetic and on methadone an as many know to keep your take homes you have to have a clean uds (urine test) well what if I tested pos. and lost mine due have diabetes what would I do and how is that possible b/c you have diabetes>>> Anyone know anything about this...

Like I said I am not looking to pass just wondering what means. Went read topic on page didn't say why it did just said it did???

i would assume that if you just explain to whoever that you have diabetes and that u take methadone, that they will understand, and if not, then just argue it. It should be easy to prove that you are diabetic. They will understand, don't worry.

I would not worry about what might happen ,deal with it when and if you have too.If it were too come up pos ask for a blood or hair follicle test.

Thanks all I guess I am just a worry wart lol I have always been this way. I just worked so hard to have clean test and scared for something like that. Has anyone ever heard of this??? Again thanks all!!

i am ure the doctors are aware of this as well, so if anything alarming showed up they would take your medical condition in thought.

Hello all! I hope that everyone is doing well tonight. I am doing great and I don't say that much but things are going really good for me and I am so happy. The Lord got me through all dark times and now I am in light again and happiness.
Any who I went to clinic on Wednesday and I got worried over nothing. I spoke to my counslor and all is ok and they know I have diabetes so if I did get a pos they send off for a maspec (spelled wrong) to make sure what pos. was for sure. I am glad that I ask though.

MY SON TAKE METHADONE ( HE HAS CROHNS DISEASE)  THE DOCS WANT HIM TAKING IT OVER REGULAR PAIN MEDS..BECAUSE OF HIS LIVER.   THEY WERE GIVING HIM HIGH DOSES OF VICODIN A DAY....FINALLY THEY TOLD HIM IT WOULD DESTROY HIS LIVER, SO,  THEY PUT HIM ON METHADONE.    HE GOT FIRED FROM HIS JOB WHEN THEY DRUG TESTED...( SAFETY ISSUE)   THEY TOLD HIM  THEY UNDERSTOOD  HE HAD PERSCRIPTIONS FOR IT..UNDER A DOCTORS SUPERVISION...BUT, IT WAS A SAFETY ISSUE...THEY FIRED HIM.   ANYWHERE WHERE THEY DRUG TEST...WOULD NEVER HIRE HIM....I DON'T KNOW FOR SURE  BUT, I WONDER IF THE DMV KNEW    IF THEY WOULD PULL HIS LICENSE?   WHAT A MESS...BUT, WE'VE ALMOST LOST HIM TWICE TO  CROHNS...THE PAIN HE WENT THROUGH, INFECTION...ETC...BEFORE THEY FOUND OUT WHAT IT WAS...( EXPLORITYORY SURGERY FOUND IT)   THEY TOLD HIM   ANOTHER HOUR   BEFORE COMING TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM    HE WOULD HAVE BEEN DEAD...HIS ORGANS WERE SHUTTING DOWN.   WITHOUT SOME KIND OF PAIN CONTROL...HES A MESS....HE WENT TWO YEARS  WITH SEVERE PAIN, FEVER ETC....BEFORE THEY FOUND OUT WHAT WAS WRONG...HE SAID   " I'LL NEVER GO THROUGH THAT AGAIN"  I DON'T BLAME HIM....THE METHADONE SCARES ME  FOR HIM...BUT, SO DID ALL THE PAIN HE WAS IN...ETC.    AND NOW ITS CREATED A NITEMARE  FOR THE JOB SITUATION...HE CAN'T WIN, FOR LOSING....

I'M GLAD I CHECKED THE DATE BEFORE REPLYING...BUT,  SOMEONE HAD STARTED A  " QUESTION / ANSWER THING"    THE QUESTION WAS,  " WHAT IS THE MOST EMBARASSING THING  YOU'VE EVER DONE..OR HAS HAPPENED TO YOU?"   OMG!!!!!  LOL....AFTER I HAD READ A FEW...I CHECKED THE DATES...IT WAS FOR OCTOBER OF 2008.   BUT SOME OF THE THINGS REPLYS WERE  " POPPING SOMEONE ELSES ZITS...ETC....IT WAS FUNNY...WHAT EVERYONE HAD TO SAY...THEY WERE HAVING A GOOD TIME...WITH IT..I'M JUST GLAD I CHECKED THE DATE FIRST...    BUT,  I DONT THINK ITS SO GROSS POPPING SOMEONES  ZITS...AS LONG AS ITS YOUR SPOUSE OR KIDS...I WOULDNT POP ANYONE ELSES...THAT WOULD BE WAY TOO GROSS..LOL....ONE WAS A LADY THAT WAS GROWING BLACK HAIR ON HER CHIN...SO SHE USED AN ELECTRIC RAZOR DAILY FOR IT...SHE WOULD DO IT   IN THE CAR WHEN GOING SOMEWHERE WITH HER HUBBY...HE WOULD BE MORTIFIED   THAT SOMEONE WOULD SEE HER......I DON'T BLAME HIM..LOL    I HAVE SEEN A FEW WOMEN  THAT I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE A RAZOR TOO.   YOU KNOW YOU JUST DON'T CARE ANYMORE  WHEN YOU'RE A FEMALE...AND LET A BEARD(SP) GROW... JUST A FUNNY NOTE...FROM WHAT I READ FROM A YEAR AGO....I'M GLAD PEOPLE CAN PUT A LIGHT HEART ON SUCH A NITEMARE   ONCE IN AWHILE....I NEED A GOOD LAUGH ONCE IN AWHILE....
