Conversion table to compare narcotics

this table is posted in avisg's journal...again it is hard to exactly convert any drug to compare another exactly...and sub with a ceiling effect is a bit difficult to compare than others..route od use such as oral, snorting. shooting..chewing all come into play as well

#Pain Killer Equivalent Doses (Oral)
1.2mg.............Buprenorphine (Bupe)
200mg............Codeine (Tylenol 2, 3, 4, etc)
30-60mg.........Diacetylmorphine (Heroin) (orally it = morphine, IV/IM/insuffilated it's 2x as strong)
100mg............Dihydrocodeine
30mg..............Hydrocodone (Vicodin, Lorcet, etc)
7.5mg.............Hydromorphone (Dilaudid)
4mg................Levorphanol (Dromoran)
300mg............Meperidine (Demerol)
10-20mg.........Methadone
30-60mg.........Morphine
20mg..............Oxycodone (Oxycontin, Percocet)
10mg..............Oxymorphone (Numorphan)
200-300mg.....Propoxyphene (Darvocet)
150mg............Tramadol (Ultram, Ultracet)

a guide only...can not be exact due to the different mechanisms of these drugs and route of use

If im on90mg of oral solution methodone how much dilaudid or oxy cotin would i need to switch

thanks for posting this detail to be available for this forum users. I am sure it will help someone may be at-least one person. But the fact is you should not be relied on these medicines. access medicines can also cause liver damage, heart problems which needs to be taken care of.

My doctor is wanting too change my medicine due too the fact that 30mg of oxycone 4x a day is getting hard too find.Will Kadian 60mg taken 2x a day work as good,if not does anyone know of anything that will help the same?
