Help Me To Stop My Methadone Addiction

I'm trying to come off of methadone that I was given by a doctor from a pain clinic in Pensacola Florida almost 3 years ago .
I've moved to Pennsylvania and and since I've been here the doctors keep trying to ween me off but it hasn't worked.
my body is racked with the pain from my arthritis and osteoporosis. i can't take this medication anymore and i don't know what to do. Please help me !

It is possible that the doctors have tried to wean you too quickly, this often happens when methadone is prescribed on an outpatient basis or not prescribed by someone with some sort of specialty in addiction including. opiates. How many mg. have you been taking? And how many mg have they tried to wean you? Have you tried other medications to control your pain? Muscle relaxants or NSAID's( naproxen, motrin, celebrex)?
