make sure you are getting enough nourishment.
lots of veggies, fruit and protein.
keep moving forward, one day at a time, you are healing,
congrats on your 14 days clean. you are doing awesome.

recovery is a marathon not a sprint.
you are living life on its terms, don't set your expectations to high
for yourself so you don't get disappointed.
everything will get done, break it up into smaller segments of time.
time, time and more time.....

Im ok ... Still not very energetic and sneezing but that's about all the physical symtoms ... Mentally I am anxious and do get a little aggravated very eaisly ... Cant wait to be normal :-)

This isn't the new you. It's a normal part if detox. Give yourself a break, friend. It's ok to veg around and do nothing every now and then. Besides it sounds like you're staying energized and pushing yourself, which is good! Just don't push to hard. Just wanted to add a word of encouragement and say keep up the good work!
Even a WALK in the fresh air will work wonders!!
Great for you! I really agree with Pat1956100 -- even if you don't feel like doing anything, exercise is very important. If you have a bike, treadmill, elliptical, etc., USE IT! By day 13, the physical side effects should most likely be dwindling or nearly over. Believe it or not, it's largely mental at this point, as ROSY pointed out.
Just keep reminding yourself how well you are doing and that you are physically FINE, but your mind is telling you you're not. I can't stress enough how important it is to get active. Of course, every person is different and if you feel terribly sick, take it easy. But only you know what you're capable of doing. Stay strong because you're doing great!
We are basically in the sane spot. I'm at 14 days today. I feel the same as you! Energy is hard to come by. It's so weird just not having energy or motivation.
But I just try and push myself and I'm really starting to think
exercise will possibly help.
I'm going to really try to start (slowly!) working out come this week.
Oh yea.. I forgot to ask... Have you thought about aftercare?? If you thought WD's were hard just wait til the mental kicks in.. You will need a support system. WE are always here for you but NOTHING can replace the face to face interaction and the HUGS when you really need one.. Also it gives you a safe place to run when your feeling beat down...
I remember people telling me to go for a walk, or even to a freaking gym and I thought they were nuts. I could barely make it to the bathroom.
I did find out eventually, that the more I forced myself, the better it got.
Believe me I am really having trouble forcing myself to do anything today.
I am still in bed typing on my computer, waiting for the football game.
I do plan to go for a walk tonight. I have to vacuum and clean my whole house because it's up for sale but I don't think that's going to get done today and it's driving me crazy.
I just wanted to let you know you weren't alone with your feelings.
Hopefully we will be laughing about this soon.

Congratulations on 13 days!! Yay! You've made an awesome start.. Your doing good... Do the housework in order of priority and take your time.. Get the really important stuff done and the rest can surely wait! One thing Ive learned about chores & housework..IT WILL WAIT ON YOU! IT WILL still be there when you get around to it. It's not going anywhere! Haha..
you will get your energy back but its going to take time. You didn't get yourself into this in 13 days and it's going to take longer than that to heal! :) Have patience and give yourself time to heal. Rome wasn't built in a day :) Hang in there!
I'm here!!! I'm not going anywhere I love you guys!! You have helped me through the physically worst part! I am taking my vitamins though not drinking too much I will force more water down! I will try a walk the weather is ok today cold but not as bad as its been! Looking forward to having more energy that's for sure!

Congrats on day 13. You are doing great.
I know how bad the lack of energy is but you know we have to fight through it.
Just make sure you are still drinking lots of fluids, taking your vitamins and FORCING yourself to get some exercise. Even if you just walk around the block. Your energy WILL come back and you will be able to do the things you have to do. I keep telling myself that too, lol. It's hard, I know.

Hi!!! Yes my fiancé will help me I'm just stuck in my head at the moment ... I used to be able to do it all lol so I thought! But my house was spotless meals were cooked and laundry was always done. Just want to be clean and doing these things! I am on the pitty pot and I need to get my butt off
Hey love! Congrats on day 13. Your energy will come back, it just takes time ( we ALL hate that word! Lol) maybe, do little by little today? You don't need to overdue it, still baby yourself. Do you have anyone to help you with cleaning?
