day 9...

Im about through day 9, feeling good but the mental creeps in daily. Someone posted on here awhile ago "letter from my addiction" and ive been reading it daily. I think everyone should read it all ya gotta do is google it. It hits me everytime i read it and it helps to remember why we all are choosing to stop this terrible cycle. Anyway people just starting out through wd's its tough very tough but very doable.Im by no means a good source for inspiration cause ive relapsed a few times but i will not stop trying to kick this once and for all. Good luck all

Thats a great idea with detox movies!! The most scarey part is it will always be here with me. I do alot of reading, so i was reading about Russell Brand and his addiction and road to recovery. And he was asked last year his tenth year clean when was the last time he thought about using his doc H, he said yesterday. So im thinking hes clean 10 years and still has those thoughts. He preaches NA AA meetings and the i will not use today. Very interesting and reading like music is how i clear my mind and it works for me.

Maybe you can find another movie like that one bullman to get you through the next few days. That's what we need to do. Start a company that makes movies to get people through detox, lol just thinking out loud. Hang in there buddy and keep up the great job. ;)

Good Job so far..Just keep that road block up against this disease. Life will not always be a bowl of cherries. As you get more time in things will become more real to you. As you already know, staying clean is the hard part of all of this..We have to learn to live in our own skin with our real emotions. Like learning to Love ones self again. I just pray that you keep pushing and DO give it all you got.

I rode from 15 till i was 24. And had a blast. But with a family it wasnt paying the bills. I'm 33 now and it was one of my excuses for using pills, ive had surgeries and alot of busted up parts never fixed. But no excuse to popem the way I was. I will say I watched passion of the Christ on day 3 of wd's and I felt so petty and childish for thinking what I was going through was unbearable. To see what Christ went through was like wow this wd is Childs play really. I'm by no means a saint but I do believe in Jesus and God and im telling y'all that movie pushed me through at least the two toughest days of my wd. I'm just trying to throw out what worked for me, maybe it will work for one other person then great!

Hey Bullman. You are a good source for inspiration. There are a bunch of people out there trying to figure out how to get 9 days in. Whatever you were doing to stay clean before keep doing it and add to that. Do you ride bulls?
Just wondering. Hang in there buddy and congrats on te 9 hard won days.
