1st hang over in 6 years

For the first time in 6 years I'm reminded what a hang over feels like.  12 days ago I'd just pop a couple of pills w/coffee, then 2 more 2 hrs later and so on.  I had less than 2 glasses of wine w/sushi.  I normally don't drink wine or any hard liquor.  Just beer, and now, can't hardly do that either.  That's good for me...huh?  Now I'm gonna think twice b/f I drink again.

I gotta get my hard hat & steel toe boots together.  I'm taking a helicopter offshore to meet my boyfriend.  I'm bringing my laptop w/me because I need yall.  Yall are the biggest part of my life right now.

Oh guess what?  I slept like a dead person last night!  No visits from Freddie on Elm Street!

Girlfirends & wives are allowed only for Consultants.  They need to make sure that their company men keep their balls empty in order to stay focused!   Isn't that kool!

You know that pisses off the deck hands who have been out there for weeks!  But for some reason, when a woman arrives on a platform, you'll notice that they are all shaved clean by the next day!

The food is awesome and PLENTY.  Sometimes I'll go play w/the cook in the kitchen and help out if I get bored.

you know your not far from me. I could probably see you when you fly out so be sure to wave LOL. Since when did they start letting girlfriends on the rigs. Man if i knew they would let you do that i would of switched careers a long time ago. However that will be a good place to be,that will definately keep your mind busy. I'm gonna go with the church group over to your house while your gone and make sure all  the little demons are gone. LOL have fun.

Yes........I'm bringing my puter.  They have internet on all oil rigs now.  Bet that Gulf of Mexico water is COLD.......and too cold to swim back to shore if I feel like getting pills.  But I don't want pills thankfully.  It's easier the say that today than it was a couple of days ago.  Even with this hang over, I don't want them.

For me, and ONLY FOR ME, I cannot drink any alcohol. It is mind and mood altering, and anything that does that to me is dangerous. I need to confront my feelings, fears, etc.

If you are having that sort of reaction to it, then maybe you want to re think drinking all together.
