Compelled 2 say Thank You...again!

Hi Friends! You don't know me. Its been a long time since I've posted. I have been clean of Methadone for over a year now. It was this forum, the Thomas Recipe and some "special" vitamins that saved me. I come back from time to time just to keep everything in perspective. Man, I have to say...This forum hasn't changed at all in the last year! Oh sure it looks different, but you guys on here helping each other with a common problem is the most wonderful thing to behold! Never in all my years have I witnessed such compassion for a total stranger. There are other forums that won't even talk to you unless you have been "one of them" from the start. Not this forum though.
I just wanted to say Thank You! Thanks for ALWAYS being here, and Thanks for ALWAYS knowing what I need to hear. I REALLY wish there was some way I could repay all of you for such a great feeling as this, but this is all I have. Thank You from the very fiber of my being. 8 letters in Thank You. It just doesn't have enough PUNCH to carry how I truly feel. I wish I could do better.

Thanks so much for your kind words, but it is people like you, without whom, I could not have done this. To this day I still take my Special vitamin mix, and I love everyday a little differently. My daughter is now 17, and getting ready to graduate soon, and possibly even move out of our home. Hope they have a forum for empty nesters too. LOL! I've seen a couple people on here I remember, too. They are still struggling with their addiction. I don't bring it up, because everyone's path is different. I tried tapering first and failed. I'm just so happy to see this forum flourish. You all are AWESOME, and deserve much more than just my thanks.

That's why I said (yuk) :-)

Some other changes are the search feature is much better. Each person with a profile has a tab labeled posts. When you click on it, starting with most recent, all of the posts made by that person, including comments. On the right hand side of the forum page is recent journal entries and mood changes. Along with people who have joined this forum.

I have read your posts today. It is good to have you post again. We need more updates like yours. So I will say this:
Stick around, kick up your heels, have a nice stiff drink. (of Gatorade.) It'll be like old times.:) You know, a little chocolate add some L-Tyrosine and a nice cup of hot Valerian root tea. (yuk) At least the chocolate would be ok.

Umm...I picked the pix because I always kept my eye on my love for my daughter to get me through w/d's. Back when I was on here, you were just your nickname there were no pix. It's cool, I like it. Needless to say there are alot of physical changes to the forum, I will need time to learn em all I guess.
