skin crawls

I posted about being day 5 with skin crawls but I wanted to give it a separate post, for those who might also be experiencing it.  When will the skin crawling effect go away, after being 5 days c/t?  Thanks for any advice!

I cant tell you how long it will take, it depends on the person and probably the amount of whatever it is they are taking. In the last 7 or 8 months I went from MS Contin to methadone. I was on 160 mg a day until 9 days ago. I still had the skin crawling feeling yesterday even though it wasn't as bad, but I woke this morning and the only problem I have is a slightly upset stomach and my legs are still twichy. I took a suboxone yesterday, Friday, and Thursday and I dont plan to take any more. They helped push the withdrawal back a bit, but they were giving me a headache. I'm actually scared to get out of bed because I havent felt this good in I don't know how long.

You may have another 2-3 days of skin crawls, but they should start to decrease quickly from this point. As I said in my other post to you, you will probably have good days & bad days. You may have a few other withdrawl symtoms pop up here & there, like sleeplisness, restless legs, lack of energy. But they get better every day, so hang in there! Today is day 12 for me. Stay strong!
