30 days clean from vicodin! Check In/ wds symptoms

I just want to thank everyone for being so supportive during my journey. All your thoughts, kind words and support mean so much to me! With the hospital stay...having to start over..being tested several times with offers of hydros...staying the course has been and continues to be my path.I am glad to be here and I have you all to be thankful for..my angels!

Still having headaches occasionally. I have one today. Just staying super hydrated with just water
Having more anxiety, but I have always had issues with anxiety. My next goal is to get off anxiety meds.
Fatigue is still pretty bad. It comes and goes...as an athlete it is hard to lack energy, but pushing through it.
Occasional body aches.
Still random sneezing

It is great to not take a pill when I get up. Only pills I am taking are vitamins! That is awesome!
No cravings!
I feel more like myself everyday.
I am getting to the point of where I can assess my REAL pain levels...
Good bye rebound headaches!

I am just wanting my energy back..that is my mine concern...

The fatigue will get better with a bit more time.  I suffered the same issue when I stopped Norco's and the same when I stopped Tramadol. I'm still fighting the fatigue from my last bout of Tram abuse.  For some the fatigue is not that bad but other symptoms are like stomach issues.  Some the fatigue is bad but not stomach issues etc.  I was like you and the fatigue was really...REALLY bad.  Hard to make it through work and keep moving bad.  I had to leave work a couple of times it got so bad so I understand what you are saying.  The one thing I found that helped me get through the first 45 to 60 days was the Protein Shake powder from GNC.  I would wait as long as I could possible stand the fatigue and then mix 3 huge scoops of the powder with water and chug it down.  Within 30 minutes I gained more energy and was able to make it though the last 2 to 3 hours of work.  It was a LIFE SAVER to put it mildly.  This symptom will pass.  Just be patient for a bit longer and pretty soon your body will stabilize.  I know exactly what you are talking about so hand tight.  Keep exercising, lots of Gatorade (electrolytes) lots of sun if you can get it (if not take larger dosages of vitamin D during this time) but only larger doses till your energy returns and the Protein Shakes.  This really helped me out during my first 60 days.  Then I was back to stable energy.   Try the 3 large scoops of the Protein Shake Powder from GNC.  I used the GNC Pro Performance® AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60™ - Chocolate.  It was expensive but a lifesaver for the month I needed it.  Definitely worth every penny!    Keep up the great work and congratulations.

The tea comment was funny...I can so relate to that!
I'm glad for those 30 days and especially happy that you're feeling so well. You've had a rough go of it with the swelling issues...

It's great to have family to celebrate this milestone; it's the first of many! Very happy and so proud of you!

Thank you so much FourJays! You have been so supportive and caring. It is greatly appreciated. I so hope this lingering symptoms subside soon, but day by day, right? :) I am definitely watching my headaches. I do not want to go through that again! Love and blessings to you!

Thank you so much! I am fatigued, but happy :). My hubby is taking me out and my mom and I are going to lunch to celebrate. It feels so good to sip my tea without knocking back a few hydro 5/500 with the tea, lol... I am tired, but blessed! Thanks toothfairie!

Congratulations on 30 days!  You really have earned this for sure!  It sounds like you are doing great; all of the lingering 'symptoms' you mentioned are normal (in my experience), and should all fade with a little time.  Please take good care of yourself - especially with the headache thing OK?  Would not want you to have to go through anything like the first time :)  Thanks for the update and inspiration - you are amazing!
